I was just thinking about how great it's going to be to not have to worry about buying Christmas presents for Brett this year. There are really only very few people I'm buying for this year. I may just not buy any!
I can't believe the holiday is coming up so quick. I dunno what I want to do for Christmas cards this year. I don't think I want to do the picture thing again. Maybe I can get some cute ideas on Etsy.
I'm going clothes shopping this weekend....let's see if I get happy I found stuff or if I get angry because I'm such a fat ass who can't wear anything.
I'm having two Thanksgiving dinners this year. One the weekend before Turkey day in Ft. Worth and then the day of we're sponsoring sailors who have no where to go, similar to what we did for Christmas last year. The good thing is that the squadron is going to pay for the turkey so thats a little less money we'll have to spend. I also invited my cousin and her family from Nebraska to come if they wanted to make the trip down.
My other cousin's boy is turning 8 on Thanksgiving..what do you get an 8 year old? He's really into video games but his momma said no more games! I should see about getting one of those ripstick things...wonder if he's too young for that... I might just get a gift card to Best Buy or something.

Have you ever returned an item to a store for a refund after having used it?
Yep, more than once. The one time that comes to mind is when I bought this awful product thinking I'd clean our hardwoods faster. After I used it, I washed the pad that came with it and returned it to Walmart with the pad still wet.

I'm sort of a bitch today...or as Brett says "why are you so moody?" You know..because "moody" sounds SO much better than bitchy
The only music I can stand to hear today is Jack Johnson. I can't get enough of Better Together today.
This is my last post today..I promise.
Brett and I will be on Whidbey Island, WA to see Jeremy and Chrissy and the girls for Christmas this year and to kick off our honeymoon. They live super close to Forks and La Push and Port Angeles!!
So we've decided to go there for a day and I'm super excited. I was just on the Forks website and OMG I want to go RIGHT NOW!
Too bad we'll be there in the winter and won't be able to really take in the moss forest.
OMG I'm so excited! Is it December 26th yet?
Friday night we saw Saw VI. It was just like all the others of course but we've seen all the others so why not this one? Saturday we watched Where the Wild Things Are which was just ok for me. It was watchable though. It was a deep movie that only had one thing from the book I remembered. Saturday night we rented Imagine That with Eddie Murphy....cute movie and worth the $1 rental.
Brett was suppose to be off work all weekend for the firs time in about a month but he got called in on Sunday so I was home from 10a-7pm by myself which was fine with me because I love my alone time. I spent the day laying around and cleaning the house.
Saturday afternoon was a beautiful day and we had such a good time. We ended up carving pumpkins after the movies which was a fun thing for us to do together...I dunno why we didn't do that last year. Instead of regular candles I got some of those battery operated tealights...they're so much better! I found a set of 2 at the Dollar Tree which was perfect!
So there's my weekend...exciting life I live!
